The Learning Foundation (TLF) was started in 1997 with the purpose of offering to the Public, Social and Business Sectors skills and values specifically relevant to Transforming and Resolving Conflict.  In order to include the public and social sectors who may not always be able to afford the same level of costs as the business sector, it was decided to make The Learning Foundation a “non profit company” to allow for a flexibility of fees at the same time as aiming at building an holistic approach to the whole of society.

The main activity of The Learning Foundation is to offer training programmes in a range of practical skills in order to improve communications and relationships.  These tend to break down the most when there is a conflict situation.
