Leonard Daniels

 |
Leonard has worked and trained in-depth with Dr. Marshall Rosenberg the founder of Non Violent Communication (NVC) both experientially and creatively in England, Northern and Southern Ireland, Israel and Switzerland. |
 |
He was a founder member of the UK Co-ordinating Team and a former contributor to the International Advisory Board working closely with the international team to spread NVC throughout the United Kingdom and other countries.

The organisations and people with whom he has worked include professional and business companies and individuals, the English and Israeli police, Israelis and Palestinians, Northern and Southern Ireland communities, teachers and students in both primary and secondary schools and young people collectively and individually.

Leonard has had 2 years training with the Institute of Psychosynthesis, London. |

He has also been a property and finance consultant for many years. |
 |
In 1997, Leonard joined The Learning Bridge as a consultant, mainly delivering and facilitating workshops around conflict resolution and emotional training. Subsequently, he became a director of The Learning Foundation, a non-profit organisation that has increasingly taken the values and the tools used in the commercial sector of The Learning Bridge to those in the social sector such as schools (including those of the London Borough of Barnet and Somerset County Council Education Department), hospitals, social services and the police.

In 2007, Leonard became a founder Committee Member of the Association of South West Mediators (ASWM) and Governor of the new Foundation Trust of Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust at Musgrove Park Hospital.

Leonard is a Committee Member of the Taunton Inter-Faith Group and Somerset Faith and Belief Forum.

Elisabeth Murray

Primary school teacher for over 20 years with experience
of Senior Management, Literacy and Key Stage 1
Co-ordinator. |

Elisabeth trained in Psychosynthesis, Effective Parenting,
Group Work, Circle Time and Non-Violent Communication (NVC). |

She is a Trainer in Conflict Resolution for The Learning Foundation and has successfully
applied the NVC process in the classroom over the last 7
years. |

Post Graduate Certificate in Emotional Literacy from the
School of Emotional Literacy, Bristol University. |
 |
Elisabeth’s present programmes include facilitating
courses for teachers and trainees in
Conflict Resolution
for their professional and personal development, for
Somerset County Council Education Department. |
Peter Hopkins

BSc(Hons); MBA;
Diploma in Marketing; Chartered Engineer; Master Trainer
in NLP. |
 |
Peter has had 20
years’ experience in business management in the oil/energy
and engineering industries before studying for an MBA and
turning his talents to start up in his own business.

He has developed The
Learning Bridge over the last ten years into one of the
UK’s leading providers of quality people programmes by
facilitating behavioural change and ensuring the change is
long-lasting and memorable by Challenging, Motivating and
Inspiring. |

Peter is the Managing
Director of The Learning Bridge Limited and a Director of
The Learning Foundation. |
Sue Burr

 |
Sue has been working with The Learning Foundation since January 2005, both as a Trainer and the Company Co-ordinator.

She gained her training skills as a horse riding instructor (British Horse Society AI) and as a driving instructor in Germany, Cyprus and the UK, over which period she also ran her own driving school. A member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists since 1985, Sue has more recently become a Trainer/Observer for the Taunton Group.

Sue is married with two adult sons and now lives in the Taunton area having previously lived in Germany, Cyprus, Belgium and UK as an Army wife. During this time Sue had experience of providing informal social service advice and relationship counselling.

Judi Townsend
 |
Primary School Teacher for
over 25 years with experience of Acting Deputy Head, SMT,
Literacy and PHSE Co-ordinator. |
 |
Experience as a member of the Somerset Consortium of
Initial Teacher Training (SCITT), Steering Group, Mentor
for SCITT trainees and NQT teachers. |
 |
Trainer in Conflict Resolution for the Learning Foundation
and trained Teacher Coach. |
 |
Currently Judi is an Advisory Teacher supporting the
delivery of the Primary National Strategy for the Somerset
Behaviour Support Service. |
